How to (safely) experience the blooms this year
We are so excited to see the Tulip blooms of Skagit County this year! Each tulip grower offers a unique experience, with a combined 350 acres of planted tulips. While visitors will be allowed at the tulip grower gardens this year, there will be a limited capacity due to government restrictions to keep both visitors and workers safe. Both tulip growers are requiring a face mask and social distancing during your visit.
While tulip blooms vary based on weather patterns, the peak of tulip season is typically between April 5-19. The best time to plan your trip to catch the most blooms is during this time, or mid April. Check out the Skagit Tulip Festival bloom map here.
There are several options for lodging here in Burlington, whether you are looking for a spot to park your RV, or a clean and safe room. A great option is our April featured hotel La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham. La Quinta is one of the closest hotels Tulip Town and RoozenGaarde, less than 5 miles away from both!
