Of course I had to go see for myself! Before I get into the details about the tacos themselves, I need to address just how inviting this restaurant is. As you walk up, you’re greeted with so much color from their stunning hanging flower baskets as well as their well-maintained landscaping.

The restaurant is fairly new, they have only been in this location for a little over two years but their food truck first began 30 years ago. One food truck turned into three and then turned into this adorable, clean, and easily accessible place. Just off Highway 5, at 702 N. Burlington Blvd., just go around the roundabout and you will see it!

On a busy day, you can order from their cute, outdoor ordering window. The service is impeccable. I sat down, had a sip of my beer and then the tacos came out almost immediately. I do value being served efficiently. A lot of folks come here on their lunch break, it is convenient and delicious!

Ok, now for my critique of the tacos. What I liked the most was the freshness of the fish as well as the lime and the cilantro. I think it is so important for restaurants to use quality ingredients, not only for the main feature like the fish or the meat, but for the toppings like cilantro. I loved that the tacos were very full and filling for their size. I really loved the price! For just $1.95 each, you can fill up pretty easily even on a tight budget.

This is certainly one of Burlington’s many gems! I love coming here on my lunch break or after work to just unwind. I definitely recommend it for locals as well as people visiting from afar!
