Coming back for the 2nd year in a row and with an increased budget, the City of Burlington Friday Night Fireworks show brings a spectacular 20 minute show by Western Display Fireworks - the biggest largest yet for Berry Dairy Days! Western Display Fireworks is a fourth generation family owned and operated company that has produced at these distinguished events: Tacoma Freedom Fair, Seafair Summer Forth, Portland Rose Festival, and 4th of July celebrations in Oak Harbor, Renton, Langley, Kenmore, Carnation, Anacortes, Boise, Everett, and more!
Burlington BBQ Battle
Berry Dairy Days Burlington BBQ Battle is BACK!!!
Do you think you can out BBQ your neighbor? If you think you are the best BBQ chef we are looking for you!
Competitors can choose to compete either or both of the pork butt and beef brisket competitions. Competitors need to have enough for a minimum of 175 servings at a minimum of 2oz per sample. All meat entries will be judged on TASTE, TEXTURE, APPEARANCE. Judges will be chosen by the Burlington BBQ Battle Committee. Veggie entries will be judged by the People’s Choice.
All entry fees are non-refundable. The payout for first place is $1,000.00, second place is $750.00 & third place is $500.00 for each meat. Veggies will be voted by a “People’s Choice” with a cash payout of $250. Meat reimbursement for competitors is a price per ticket price at $1.00 per serving. No propane is allowed, only pellets, charcoal, wood, or any combination thereof.
